Holy Trinity Church is dedicated to outreach, both in our community, our Territory, our country and overseas.  Ten percent of the church givings are placed in a Mission outreach fund and the money allocated annually through the Mission outreach committee.

See the Belize page for more detail of Belize mission work.

One example of sustained outreach/mission work is the support we provide to the Anglican Diocese of Belize.  This mission work started in 2006 with a member of the congregation travelling to Belize and spending three months doing mission work with school children and working in a primary health care clinic.

Heather Leslie, a Registered Nurse, spent time on her first visit to the country teaching a variety of health related topics in the four Anglican Schools in Belize City.

In the fall of 2006, Heather returned to assist with the opening of a new school on an island called San Pedro, an hour and a half boat ride from Belize City.  The school opened with three classrooms, 70 happy students and a robust feeding program.  And the rest as they say is history.

A  lot of hard work took place during the mission, varnishing furniture, teaching in classrooms, painting, tending to sick children and preaching a Sunday service.RIB86B~1.jpgRIA871~1.jpgRIA875~1.jpgRIBA67~1.jpg
